This is a happy place. In the middle of the party-scene of Miami Beach, the legendary Ocean Drive, there is a colorful little place, inside the Carlyle, one of the most iconic Art Deco buildings in the sunshine capital. The colors reflect the personality of Xiaoli Liu, one of the owners of this dessert shop. Her husband, the other owner, is Dejan, also known as Dan. They had no previous experience in the industry until they decided to open this place. The only thing they were clear about was that they wanted to give happiness to the public, the same happiness that they irradiate. And, honestly, they did. They told us that, despite the pandemic, they are studying various offers for an expansion in a franchise format. The selection of ice cream is spectacular. Artisan, of course, and with a very particular selection of flavors. The lavender one, for example, is incredibly delicate and rare. The mango one, refreshing like few. Then, for the most daring, the most explosive desserts. From outlandish shakes to a cotton candy pizza with ice cream. Yes, you read that right. Go, go, go!
